Oklahoma State University and the Beef Reproduction Task Force hosted the 2014 Applied Reproductive Strategies in Beef Cattle (ARSBC) Symposium Oct. 8-9 in Stillwater, Okla. The symposium featured eight general sessions.

Wednesday sessions featured an overview of reproductive management, strategies for AI success; the impact of environment and management on cow herd efficiency, and the economic impact of reproductive technologies.

Thursday sessions featured advanced reproductive technologies; fertility in the male, the use of genomics in reproductive management and development of replacement heifers.

The Angus Journal — with sponsorship and assistance of the Beef Reproduction Task Force — provides comprehensive coverage of the event in this website's Newsroom. Visit the Newsroom to access summaries of the presentations, along with corresponding PowerPoints, proceedings and audio.

In the pull-down menu under the Newsroom link above you'll also find an archive to coverage of past ARSBC symposia since 2008, as well as copyright guidelines for materials posted to the site.
